Rafael Diaz, ESQ.
Rafael Diaz’s practice includes first and third party insurance defense, fraud and special investigations (SIU), commercial disputes, contractual interpretation, and breach of contract actions. Rafael has substantial court room, deposition, and alternative dispute resolution experience including mediation and arbitration.
In addition to all civil and county courts in Florida, Rafael is admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Rafael is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Zumpano Castro, Rafael had additional experience in the fields of first and third party automobile insurance actions, complex commercial foreclosures working in conjunction with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), residential foreclosure, condominium and homeowner association, consumer rights, products liability, wrongful death defense, dram shop law, and international arbitration.
Rafael graduated cum laude from The Florida State University College of Law during which time he interned with the Broward County Public Defender’s Mental Health Division and Leon County Public Defender’s office. Rafael is currently a board member for the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and a member of various other local bar and community associations.
