Senior litigation counsel

Louis Kaye has practiced for 19 years in all areas of insurance defense litigation including automobile liability, No-Fault, premises liability, bad faith and first and third party coverage disputes.  He also testifies as an attorney fee expert and has been certified as an expert by Courts in numerous jurisdictions.  He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a certified CE instructor for attorneys and insurance adjusters by the Florida Department of Financial Services.

He was named as one of Orlandoʼs Top Lawyers by Orlando Home and Leisure and has been elected a Member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.  Louis attended Deerfield Academy and received a Bachelor of Science in a double major of Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University.  He worked in Financial Reporting at Walt Disney World before embarking on his legal career by attending the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.  Louis was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Judges of the Ninth Circuit in Orlando, and in particular the Honorable Belvin Perry, the Chief Judge who subsequently presided over the infamous Casey Anthony trial.
Louis previously was the managing partner of Florida for Allen Kopet and Associates. He is licensed in Florida, Georgia and the Middle District of Florida.
